Year Book reflection

In this project we had to make a year book with our group the problem was that my group has 4 people and some of the people were slaker. My job was to take pictures of our class mates which only took one day to do. I did this by using my phone camera and send it to my Dropbox. I except my team to be finished with the cover or start writing about the school but only my leader was working on cover. I also work on the cover too while my leader was making the outline and one of my group members was working on about the school. This was really hard because I felt like I did most of the work because someone in my group decided to be a slaker. I don't think I'll do this in the future because it is a lot of work and time.

Interview Skills

A of job applicant that I want to be is someone who hires people that are good at engineering things. I chose this because I am also an engineering person and I'd like to work with people who life's the same thing as me. This makes like my job easier because if I work with people that have the same interests as me then I'll be able to get my work done faster.

Newspaper Reflection Project 9

This this project me and my group had to think of a topic for our newspaper, in my case it was college. My job was to get pictures for the project the problem was that hard because its not easy to go to colleges to colleges, but i mange to get them but like 25 pictures. After that i send them to jose so he can edit it and put them on the newspaper. the hard part of the project was putting everything in because jose was not here on the last of the project and he said he was going to show us how to put it together, but we'er confused too. so we tried our best and hand it in and make it up instead.

I might use this in the futer when i want to make money or help someone who making a newspaper, and  i'll have fun doing this project again

NYC CS Fair

On April 7 2016, we went on a trip to a computer science fair with the apple academy. We took the train to get there. There was a lot of people with us so we had to make sure that we were together like every transfer. When we got there there was a big line so we waited like 30 minutes and then they let us in. We had lunch first and then we went down stairs and a robot that play scorer and shot ball, I think it was cool. Then Syed told me that I should sign up for summer program where I make a app with 4 other people and go on a competition to see who has the best app and 5 thousands dollars, each gets a thousand. I'm really looking forward to his.

The most fun part of the trip was that you got to meet people from Google, Facebook,  Twitter, ect. My least favorite thing was that when we're eating lunch.

Brochure Reflection

Brochure was easy project to do because you have to make about respect for all which I have done project before so first I had to use in design and make 3 columns and then put a something that is relate to respect for all I my case it was bullying. I made my own logo it was a spray can that said bully killer and my name.
In the inside I put what causes bullying and what effect it, how can you stop buying, and examples too. Then I used some pictures to show a good example. On the back I put where I got the information and my info but fack so no one pranks me.
The hardest part was for me was typing in the information because I'm a slow typer. The fun part was setting everything up. I don't see myself using this in the future.

Natural History Museum

Today I went to Natural History Museum with web design class. We took the train to get there but we were split into 4 groups by our last name so we don't get lost. We went there to learn how to make an ad, which sounds interesting to me because we see ad all the time. One of the ads I swap this it was showing what happened back at time which I found it cool because the main reason we went to the museum was to look for an ads and I thought I was not going to find one. 
My favorite part was when we got to see the the ocean side because I like sea animals. After that we went home and Ms.Ramirez dismissed us.

CTE Expo Reflelction

In the CTE Expo Miss. Ramirez Told us that we need to dress up properly so we look nice and people will join Web Design. We first have to do our business card project then put into a board. On the day we present to the freshmen and show them what we did in wed design, i remember that one of them was amazed in what we do in web. When they enter our class we shuck hands and i introduce myself to them. They seen scared, but I believe that they were shy and they didn't want to interact.

The CTE Expo is important to us because we teach the freshman that if you do really well in your in your class you can have an opportunity to be in Web Design and They can also learn a lot of communication skills because that what i saw that the freshman is waking on. If we didn't have the Expo then a lot of the freshman won't fail they'er class

What I learn from the Expo is that if you try hard you make a big accomplishment and if they don't you might do really bad at your work, so it important to take one step ahead to make your work look better

Pro4 Reflection

When making the silhouette mask is first I use the selection tool to selection everything that is not me and then on the bottom of the left corner there a square tool and make a picture that has only the outside. Then I use the blur tool to make the background white looking. Then I used the text box and click on paths and then make path and started for the left side of the picture, and wrote all about me. Then I change the background to a blue color.

The image that I found is what I like, what I like to eat, what is my favorite Pokémon, etc. With these photos I put them under the masking and made sure their no white spot.

To get the letter by first select load selection and then invers and paths then make path and put it on the left end of your mask.

I’m really satisfied because I think I did the coolest thing with Photoshop I never thought I’d make something like this.

I chose this person because it is me and I know myself better than anyone else

I see myself using this with my mother because she loves pictures and it can be a good gifted.

Pr4 Relection

In this lab we draw a picture in my case I made train track. We first have to make a copy of this and make folder of vector shape and brush. When I was doing the brush part I have to decide which brush to use and then I have to choose different color but it end up looking better than the drawing. Painting the word was hard for be because I had to make sure everything was connected.  

On the vector shape part you had to make a folder with each vector shape. I didn’t think that I was going to do this right and not finished it, but I did. So I add a gray background to the top and bottom and in the middle brown. After that I use the line tool to make line and words for my train this took a whole period of class I got mad and wanted to quit, but i didn't because I got help from Anvinh. For the wall in the middle I use the triangle shape and rectangle shape. For the wheel i used two different circle shape in vector.

I can used in the future when I want to make something for someone

New Years Resolution

My new years resolution for 2016 is to gain weight. This because I'm under weighted and because of this I look super skinny, which I think it bad because when I met guest that come to my house they always say that I'm skinny. I can achieve this by eating a lot.
My last year resolution was to get a 90 or up average overall, which I achieved with a 92 average. I did this by studying really hard for all of my class. Because of this my parents were really happy to see that I have a 90 or up average for the first time.

CTE Academy Reflection

Today we learn the dangerous things that could happen in a student job at our age. We learn the that depending on your age you have different work time. Thus is  important because a student must be home at a certain time. Also we learn that if you get injure during your job and it's your fault you don't get payed, and if you get injured and it's not your fault you get played. This is really important so don't get yourself hurt and end up not getting payed. Then we look at pictures and found what was unsafe and got prizes, I got a pen. Miss. Ramirez also told us if a person with a gun point at us just give him/her what they want don't try to be the hero your just going to lose your life. After that the Bell ring so we have to go.

Trip to Q.B.C.C

Today its really cold and me and my class were going on a trip to Queen Community College to learn about 3d printing I was excited because 3d printing sounds cool. Learn about how it impacts our society and what you can do with 3D printing. We got to use the 3d program it was hard because you had to make a cylinder. I mess up and had to ask for help. Then we tried to print it, but we were out of ink. That sucks. Then we got some samples of 3d prints, I got a salt shaker. Then se got to see machines that make the 3d print look like they were made out of metal. There were other tools that they use to make a human face or a statue. After that we got to see a video of how the machine works and what's it looks like. Then we went to this other room to eat, but we got a speech from a college student and she told us not to slack off and try your best. After that we got back to school and Ms. Ramirez dismissed us mad go home.

Project 3 Reflection

 In this project we use this damaged photo and fix it, but it was really hard because we have to use heal tool, patch tool, sharpen tool, dodge tool. What i did first was fix the background because it was simple and then I fix the blanket by using the healing tool and then I dodge tool to make it a lighter. After that I work on fixing the left girl since that had less problems and used the dodge tool on water to make it look like there skin and did the same on her arm to remove the water stain. Fixing the left girl was hard because you have to replace her eyes, lip, and noise. Then I fix the hair which took some time. The hardest part of this project was fixing the left girl. The fun part was fixing background. I see myself using this in the future when fixing someone face

Lab 6 reflection

In this lab we used the healing, spot healing, patch, color replacement, dodge, blur, smogde, burn, and rectangle tool. For picture (a) we used the healing brush to get rid of the the circle thing and fill the edge with grass. On picture (b) we use the healing brush again to get rid of JB sign and holes, but to fix the crack it was hard because you have to use the patch tool and select a part of mountain to get rid of crack, I ask Anvinh for help because he did it in his first try. On the picture (c) we had to make the man younger buy using the healing brush on his forehead to remove wrinkles and then I zoom into his right eye and change the size to 10 and remove wrinkles. On picture (4) I change the wall color from blue to red, which was fun. Then I used smodge tool on the roof to make it look like someone put there gand there and moved it, then I used the sharpness tool on the right window to make it look nice and clear, and blur tool on the left window to make it look unclear. Last I burn tool on the right rose and on the left I used dodge tool. After that we put the pictures together and finished the lab.

Reflection on my grades

1) My overall grade in this class was 90
2) My highest grade was 100 on engagement, which is 15% of my grade and I don't think it's that hard to do.
3) My worst grade was assignment because I guess I made some mistakes, that I should have not made.
4) I wasn't missing any homework but I forgot to put a blog link in Jupiter so I messed up so bad, even though I posted it on Google plus when it was due, it still count as late.
5) I can do better by remembering to post the blog link in Jupiter.

Lab 5 reflection

In this lab we took 2 pictures and give them filters. We use liquify filter first by using a picture of a person. We did this by first rasterizing a picture then we go to filters and pick liquify. It was fun to use this because you can make yourself look funny, like bigger face. Then we rename the layer liquify. With the second photo we have to duplicated it 4 times because we need to use different filters for each pictures. Then I spread out the other 5 pictures and gave each filters and rename them to these filters. After that we had to write our name and date and the lab number somewhere in the lab. What I learn is that doctors make pictures looks different what they usually look like and they can make pictures look better sometimes. What was hard for me in this lab was when I had to resize the pictures. I see myself using this in the future when I need to use a filters for my pictures.

How I take notes

The way I take notes is that I write the topic or the question on the left side of the paper where there hole puches are and on the rest of the paper I write important thing that the teacher teach me about the topic and it help me keep my notes organized

Road to Queen College reflection

On the 5th of November our class went on a trip to Queen College. We first took the M train to Woodhaven then we transfer to mta but. When we got there we got tickets for a raflal to win nexus 5 or nexus 7 tablet. We also met the U.S Army, they asked us what is leadership. Some of us got to answer and got prizes, I got one too when I answered their questions. After that we ate food the funny part was that Diego took six lunches. Then they answer our questions. When we left we took the mta but then the E train back which sucks because when ms. Ramirez dismissed us I took the same way back. The most important things I learn is that it is important to be a leader because you have to help your team weekness.

10/30/15                                        Project 2 Warhol Portrait

Warhol is was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture, and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s. After a successful career as a commercial illustrator, Warhol became a renowned and sometimes controversial artist. I would because this not only a regular painting, it is different and creative. This reminds of the time when I see art on the street because it nice to see some thing different because I think that the same is boring. Association is important because it the way of working with your group or friends, also when you work together you can split up the work up and get the job done faster.

Critics would make other feel bad and make them drag them down with they got and it not good to do this. The difference between informed and uninformed opinion is that the informed is what you share to the other and unformed is not having or showing awareness or understanding of the facts. The different between taste and bias is that taste is something you enjoy and bias is when your against one thing. Warhol portraits are very unique because he makes a portraits into four portraits, also each portraits have two different colors, but from a regular picture you see only one portrait with actual color.

Portraits are important to us because we take pictures of ourselves almost everyday. People paint portrait throughout their age because when you paint someone important you can sell it for a lot of money. What I did to created my Warhol portrait is first I took a picture of myself then I watch Ms. Ramirez step by step instructions for how to make your own portrait, but at first it was hard because there a lot of things you have to do like using the magic wand tool, lasso, ruler, making layer, etc. I don't think I would use this in the future because when you take a picture you can add filters and one of the filters does the Warhol portrait for you.

Lab 3 Reflection Journal

What did I do is that we use a photo of Lancelot and took him out of it and then use quick selection brush to only have Lancelot in our photo, but we did not know this until the Ms Ramirez show us how to use the quick selection brush. This made the hold lad easier because when you use the lasso tool it doesn't come out perfect. After that we copy the layer at least 5 time, then go to adjustment in the image and change each Lancelot, after that we made sure that each Lancelot are not touching each other. I can use this in the future when I'm editing a photo in photoshop I can use quick selection brush. What was fun was when we made copies of Lancelot
